SPiNLEY

TNM: How long have you been performing?
SPiNLEY: I’ve been performing for 2 and a half years. I started DJing on just my laptop and gradually worked my way up to playing on a Festival-ready setup.
TNM: Have you released music? Where can people check it out?
SPiNLEY: I have released music. Most of it is on my personal SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/djspinley
My first produced single released on all streaming platforms on September 25th.
TNM: What’s the best thing about Fargo/Moorhead?
SPiNLEY: For me, the best thing about Fargo/Moorhead is the community. There is such a tight-knit community here in the Electronic Music Scene, that it is beautiful to be able to be a part of it, and help it grow in the way that the people here deserve to have.
TNM: Where do you see yourself in five years?
SPiNLEY: Ideally, I see myself playing at festivals throughout the country. I want to be a role model for other queer and trans artists inside of the Bass Music scene. I want to bring the focus onto the people who built the EDM scene (Black, Latinx, Queer, and marginalized communities).
TMN: Do you have a larger view of what can be accomplished with your music?
SPINLEY: My mission above and beyond anything else is to uplift those that have been left in the shadows of this industry for too long. There is room for everyone on this stage, and not just those that have the biggest connections…
