How does one describe love?
How do I describe love?
Love is not a single thing,
Instead, it is a collection
Of choices and feelings
and moments between people.
It can be shared between two,
Or it can unite countless souls
Into a beautiful community
Of love, and of hope
Love is the warmth of knowing
That someone else sees you
Even in your darkness,
In your struggles and flaws,
When the world seems hopeless.
Laughter and voices fill the emptiness.
When time moves slowly,
When the world feels too heavy
To carry alone,
They are there.
Love is there.
Love is warmth, in the flame of a candle
Illuminating the darkness,
Love is a place where, in that darkness,
There is a light you can hold
With the people who hold you
In hope…
