Ice Cream for Breakfast
(Vegan – cheap – super easy – healthy)
Ingredients:
ripe bananas (bananas with black spots on the peels)
Equipment:
blender, a spoon and a bowl (optional)
Directions:
Take the ripe bananas, peel them and cut them in pieces (1 inch each). Freeze them overnight.
When you wish to have ice-cream, put the frozen bananas in a regular blender (if you are patient, you can use a hand blender, too). Add a dash of milk or water, and blend!
Stop every 2-3 minutes to mix it up. Keep blending until it is a consistency you like. You can add more water or milk, depending on how creamy you prefer it.
Then it is ready. Transfer to a bowl or eat it in the blender (if so, make sure it is unplugged)! You may feel cold during and/or after consumption, so keep a sweater or a blanket nearby. Add-ins: You can add anything to this recipe. Other frozen fruits, such as mango, berries, or cherries (my favorite!). Try peanut butter, protein powder, chocolate, and nuts (add when you blend the bananas or on top).
